I chop corn for silage, how does this affect my policy?

Your corn crop can be insured as grain or silage in the counties where silage type is available. If you chop silage, please contact us BEFORE you chop, preferably two weeks prior so your crop can be appraised. This is extremely important even if you don’t think you are going to have a loss.
